I spoek to these guys in Los Angeles when they were presenting their game. At the itme I was acocmpanied by East and whilst there we dropped some names. Don't remember if that name was dropped but I got the impression that although they had played IW before, none of them was from IW.
I could be mistaken though.

Mr Goose,
Drop a silly question on their forums and see where it heads you ..
The silly question: Is DW a game that can be hosted on a dedicated server? If no, thank you. If yes, Thank you even more and can you point me in the right direction to accomplish this.

I remember Oneshot well, He was not a real computer geek but if I remember right he may have had the capital to help fund a project. I know he would share his account with children with cancer and other disabilities. If someone knows more they can correct anything I got wrong. Bottom line is i doubt it's the same guy if it was East would have known.

After viewing some DW forums ....
1. There's contention where to host / play the game. So far it appears that users host via Game Spy. Hence it doesn't appear to be for a dedicated server running 24/7. Someone has to click to start an be a player.
2. Seems to be some heat between virtual players in a squadron and casual players. Friendly fire a problem. Limited players due to some don't play via Gamespy....they host an give out ip. A bit of organization to be worked out by players.
3. Training newbies also a glitch....seems they're sink toys ....lol expecially if not in a virtual squadron....I get this reading between some of the posts / lines.
4. OneShot profile shows this email address:

Argon,
Are your Oneshot and Capt. JD the same guy?
...or were there just lots of good folks disquised as scoundrels on IW.

While I was talking to Tbar about putting a Wolf Pack (Iron Wolves) reunion together, Oneshot sent me an ICQ out of nowhere. I haven't heard from him in six years. i had not tried to contact him and he just ICQed me on a whim. I am taking this as a sign. He was equally shocked when I told him we were just chatting about him. He's semi retired and living in Arizona. now I will start my serch for the rest of the old Wolfpack...

Out of the blue last night I also got an IM from Oz.
I keep in contact with Drizzt and Silvercat, but the rest is before my time.
Maybe Tbar can find his "buddy" Lee Rhodes.
