I can see this thread getting a significant workout with the creation of Custom Missions.
PROBLEM
The mission is operational and displays the correct mission details, including Orders, when being selected. However, at completion of mission, sucessful or not, the Synopsis report, which appears to run directly off the D lines, returns this message.
Clipboard 1
It reads: Synopsis: No orders for this mission - fix this.
The coding for this section is as follows:
D SITUATION: Upon arrival, etc....
D
D ORDERS: Conduct the etc ....,
D
D RISK ASSESSMENT: etc
I have rewritten and saved over the top, cut and paste, and deleted. The anomoly of the debriefing continues. Suggestions?

Be sure you have at least 1 objective. The ORDERS: is meant to put instructions on the F4 screen and should be close to describing what you put in objectives.
Every missions needs at least 1 taskforce, 1 objective, victory conditions, defeat and victory messages, ORDERS: in the description and a lineup.

I am so close to finishing this...I have one bug to iron out.
PROBLEM
There are three ships which need to be eliminated, but, in the debriefing, only 1 of the ships is being credited as sunk, but, the total tonnage for the three ships is being credited.
Clipboard 2
Missions was run as USA, once against IGN and once against LFN. Tonnage sunk is 16K and 15K tons respectively. But, that was made up of three ships.
My coding is as follows: (shortened to fit here)
T 2 Enemy Oilers 1 0 0 3 3
O 1 Destroy Oilers 1 4 1 1 0
OA 1 1 1 1200 2 45.5000
OS 2 10000 1 100 0
V 2 1
VS 1 100
The victory or defeat messages do not occur until the correct conditions are met, so they function correctly. It is only in the numerical count of 'ships sunk' that the incorrect result is recorded. Tonnage is right, mission messages right, victory messages occur after all three ships are sunk only numerical count is incorrect.
My line of thinking is that the ship counter is caught up in the victory conditions somewhere and whilst it calculates how much steel is on the bottom, it's only accounting for one type of ship perhaps?

Pioneer,
Are all three ships being sunk by the player ship? I've found in scenarios where other allied ships (or airplanes) are part of the action and sink an enemy ship, only the ships actually sunk by the player ship are counted, at least in the tally. Haven't checked the tonnage, however I have noticed even if you sink one of your own, the tonnage is added.

They are all being sunk by the player.
I'm having a buddy beta test the mission (doesn't that sound so cool, beta test

) He got the all the ships down too.
I wonder if it's in the scoring line?

Either post up the entire file, or email it and I can walk through it with you.
