Trouble With Ai

Whenever I Command a DE on Patrol, It seems like I get saddled with an incompetent boob. Frequently I'm sailing parallel to a target and 'A'(and, not infrequently,'B') guns are firing, but 'X' gun is still at cruising stations. thatsucks:
