the only reason we kept running into each other at the docks was we were too wasted to drive after celebrating the sinkin of a couple of a$$a$$ins (hick) bartender give me another, and make it a double.

Nearly two years after the last post on this topic and I find it tonight. You all conjure a feeling of brotherhood that is not often felt in the modern form of ToW. I hope someday to look back at my past and tell the tales of my friendships and battles.

I tend to agree with you Treetom, and it makes me wonder.... in all those posts, I never once saw anything about cheats,hacks, or banning, or any such thing! It seemed the battles centered on the sea, not on the software and player issues. While CoD certainly dominates at the moment, I am always looking at the suggested new games our players research, and keep up hope that a game may come along that once again can be played this way, clean of controversy and for the fun and comradery this group enjoyed!

Here here! I to hope to see this comradery amongst the ToW group some day. But I do tend to think there could be a haze of nostalgia in the air, and remembrance of the good ole days. And this is also something that is nice to hope for. Days in which we can talk of said "Good ole days".

I gotta say...my first real online experience with gaming started with Silent Hunter 2 with the 7th Flotilla that based here. ToW has been home and no other place has been quite like it. Would be great to get all the former 7th back here and gaming again.
