in which order is your expansion card insertet on your motherboard and which slots are used?

and how many exp slots do you have?

I asssume that your videocard is a AGP so that would be card #1 in slot #1

Slot #4 = ?

etc

BTW..I didnt fully answer your last post....I have 1 AGP slot, 6 PCI slots and 1 ISA slot....

Do you have a dialup connection or broadband?

If youre not using the modem card then pull it out.

Try change the order to:
The Modem might need to be in slot 6, it depends on which slots shares IRQ

Usually its 1/5, 2/6, 3, 4. but it can also be 1/6, 2/5.

Slot #2 cant be used while using the AGP port.

Boot your computer again and let windows reinstall the hardware (likely you will need to reboot again, stupid Windows LOL).

Check to see if the IRQ # has changed.

Most important is that the video and sound cards are on a IRQ of its own and all alone

report back with the results.

I swapped out the cards...Played the game played two missions and crashed on the third. No biggie...if I keep having crashes I will let you know

dl the patches

it stopped my ERT from crashing between missions

For some reason I think it is the patches that are causing the game crashes

does it still happen too often?

what IRQs are assigned to your card now?

do you run a live antivirus?

what driver version do you use for the videocard?

have you tried with less sound acceleration yet?
